Back in the Saddle

Greetings, fellow LDSS students-

We are back for the second semester and made some progress on setting up how the next few months will look for us. It was a good decision to scale back the vision of the April event, as we will all have a good deal on our plates. Shifting the focus to something smaller will give a more focused plan to impart information on those looking to go into program or agency management in the non-profit world.

We heard yesterday that our February 17th meeting date will now be somewhat compromised by a field trip to an awards ceremony at the Art Institute. Frustrating as that may be, it seems like it will be possible to do both things that night and still get something out of both events. It might be a good idea to see if we can arrange some options for getting over to the event quickly after we finish up at Loyola. Cab? Carpool? Ideas welcome.....
